For her, this is a small price to pay for to keep them at bay. But the Watcher is finally sleeping again. She awakens horrified and spilling bile out of her mouth. In the final moments of the ritual, Lissandra enters the Watcher own dream, where she sees herself being devoured by them. She traverses the entire Freljord in astral form looking checking on other's dreams and even remarks on a young girl who appears to be iceborn. Laying down on the Howlling Abyss, naked, she uses her psychic powers to feed the Watcher dreams of others. In one instance, Lissandra senses a Watcher trying to wake up. Lissandra would kill silently anyone who had been claimed their reincarnations. and yet, rumors and prophecies persisted in myth and song, those who would herald the return of Avarosa and Serylda. Lissandra and the first among her Frostguard tried everything in their power to rewrite the history of the Freljord, seizing all records of what had truly happened. They would gather as much True Ice as they could find so the return of the Watchers could be delayed at the maximum, and scour the frozen lands for any of Iceborn descent to join their cause. So she gathered her remaining followers to venerate her and her departed sisters. Now, they wandered through Lissandra's dreams as easily as she had theirs, and always she would wake, terrified, professing her loyalty to the chilling eternity they promised. The monstrous beings she had frozen were merely slumbering, slowly tainting the True Ice around them into something darker. Lissandra soon discovered the magic barrier the hold the Watchers was not enough. Lissandra summoned all of the ancient magic she could and sacrificed her sisters and the allies they had gathered, entombing the Watchers beneath a glacial barrier of magical ice on the bottom of the Howling Abyss. Then, the Watchers finally came to Runeterra. Lissandra tried to remind them showing how much they have conquered thanks to their alliance pledge to the Watchers, but they did not care. In the final days of the war, Avarosa and Serylda marched their armies up into the mountains to face Lissandra. The sisters' disagreements grew into a full-scale war. At some point, the sisters asked the demi-god Ornn to build a chasm and bridge so they could lock away the Watchers. Caught in the middle, Lissandra tried to soothe her sisters' concerns while appealing to the Watchers for more time, but the Watchers were growing impatient. However, Lissandra's sisters, tired of their slave-like status, sought to set themselves free from their bondage to these Void entities and gathered allies to do so. Lissandra herself became the Watchers' Seeker, mediating their will to the iceborn. Named iceborn, they were promised to be spared until the very end. In exchange, Lissandra and her allies would be granted near-immortality and the ability to withstand the worst of the numbing frost. On behalf of her and her sisters, she would struck a deal with them to prepare Runeterra for the coming of the Void. Using her magic, she communed with extra-dimensional entities known as the Watchers. With her sight taken, Lissandra chose instead to walk in dreams. Protip #3: Pet quests are initiated via a beastmaster before you can proceed to the next quest so if you cannot move on in that pet story line, check with the beastmaster to get that pet’s call.09 November 2009 War of the Three Sisters Protip #2: Sometimes reading the full description can hint at the enemy that you should be searching out for the chance quest drops. Dead City story quests, Dimitrius, Sorina and Captain Rutger show up in all maps and quests can be accepted/turned in on any map they appear. Protip #1: Many quests can be turned into the Quest Drop box as an alternative, I am not going to list if it is possible for all quests but just know that is often a secondary turn in.
